First Extra practice!

It's happening folks!

But I can't find anything with live timings. Well, neither F1-live.com or formula1.com.

I wonder if we'll get the results. Actually I'm more interested in what type of testing and how many laps/tyres/drvivers they all use. To get an idea of how useful it is.

Do the F1 teams ever experience problems running on the rubber that the cars from other series lay down on the track??? This happens from time to time in Winston Cup, especially when they run after NASCAR Modifieds, the elite boys slide around on the foreign rubber...

its hard to say what that is ???

it looks like a V8 supercar but again it looks like a BMW , there is GTP support races this weekend that a BMW could be driving in and there is also V8 support races , but I dont know which it is , the Livery certainly doesnt look like any V8's that Ive seen so Im going for some kind of GTP car.

To a certain extent I think they like to at least have some cars that have blown away the dust and other rubbish on the green track.

Would anything else hav gone out before the extra F1 practice? Which started at 8:30 local time.

The start is greatly affected by the saloon cars running in earlier races. There is a definite race line, and cars starting on that race line will accelerate a helluva lot faster than cars on the other side of the grid. So yeah!! it would pay the F1 drivers to watch the start of the V8's to confirm for themselves where the fast line is.

Steve, that last picture you posted was way oversized, so I've converted it into a link instead. Can you please post links instead of pictures when you want to share pictures outside our 400 x 400 pixels limits. Thank you.
