Super GT cancels USA all star race

The GT Association (GT-A) announced that the 2005 All-Star Race planned to be held in the USA has been cancelled.

It seems that Super GT is not enjoying its ventures aboard so well. Zhuhai last year, Shanghai and USA this year have all been cancelled.

man this sucks that was the best event of all last year. Yeah but they are working on 2006. I doubt if they return it will be with the D1GP though. Both sides were a little confused over who was the headliner. I really wonted to go this yea. Those cars make the best sounds. I'm sorry nothing sounds better. The growl of v8s, turbo pops and that v6 sream all drowned out by the rotary cry. Man that was an event

So only 8 rounds then this year? Or do they have a replacement for the US round?

I really hope series organisers will add a couple of more races to the calendar for next season. I'm really fond of this series.

This is the Jap GT race that ran at California Speedway last December, right? That was a cool event indeed, but I knew something was up, because I haven't heard anything out of these guys since last year. This time last year promotion was in full swing.
