2011 MOOSE TROPHY - Oulton Park Sat 22nd October

Fancy a last chance to race your FF1600 at Oulton this year? Put Saturday 22nd October in your diary now.

MSVR are running a meeting on this date and BRSCC have bought 3 x 20 minute slots.

THIS WILL BE THE 2011 RUNNING OF THE MOOSE TROPHY, one of the famed big end of season trophy meetings. The final format isn't decided, but it will probably be a 20 minute qualifying session and two 20 minute races.

Absolutely every FF1600 is eligible.

Historic FF1600
Pre74 FF1600
Classic FF1600
Pre90 FF1600
Irish FF1600
Scottish FF1600
And any type of regional FF1600

If you can tick any of these boxes, then please come along to honour the memory of Colin "Moose" Benn

And it gets better.

The entry fee for one hours track time is only £195
BRSCC membership is not requires, so long as you are a member of some motor club then that is fine.

Great stuff Dulon.
Portly Hackett tells me Colin Williams is likely to play and he is hopeful of more Classic guys joining in.

And don't think your season is over just yet. There is still the Anglesey Winter Meeting on Sunday 27th November with qually and two races for £175and a test day on Saturday 26th for just £100. It is on the 2.1 mile International Circuit

MSVR meeting 22 oct.

Well I am really looking forward to this one, it will take me back to the FF Festival at Brands which was always my favorite meeting as I did it for 13years on the trot the thing was that these races there was overtaking all the time and only one set of tyres that did not need changing after 7 laps,so our own NW FF meeting will be great. Hope we have full grids. See you there. Bye for now Vintage.

Don't lose any sleep on it.
The 500kg limit still includes the 420kg limit and so long as you meet 420kg nobody will be jumping up and down.

See you Saturday. I'm also looking forward to meeting up with a few of my - allegedly resurgent - former flock.

youngoldy has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
I wonder if the coditions will be cool enough to allow an FF1600 to get anywhere near the lap record time which always used to be beaten at the October championship round meeting...
