Well quite.

Just makes me wonder why Red Bull bothered to declare it in the first place if it's so easy to hide it by being clever with names and numbers.

The RRA agreement, just like the concorde agreement, is something that none except the chosen few have any real knowledge of. Figures get thrown about, but really we have no real way of knowing how it all works, or indeed, about how it's policed.

The "non-story" rolls on.

Unsurprisingly, Red Bull say they didn't overspend.

Also, unsurprisingly, It does seem that there isn't yet any method of dealing with overspending if they had!

I guess this is what happens if you leave the kids in charge of the candy tin.

It seems that Red Bull have only overspent by the amount needed to run a couple more teams anyway. Can't see what all the fuss is about myself.

Although you might well be able to understand why the Italian media are making a fuss about it.
Of course la Gazzetta is a ferrari biased paper, but this is not an issue; what really matters is, regardless what Gazzetta say, have RBR broken the rules or not?

No. Because, apparently, there aren't any rules to break.

"F1 teams battle over cost-cutting".

Non-story or another gun pointed at F1's foot?

What really matters is, was the RACING great, and did anyone that watched F1 in 2010 actually want to repeat the experience in 2011!
