MeN confirms the 3 PMM crews, just not how they will be aligned.
Mr Ingall, Mr Slade, Mr O.Kelly, Mr Morris, Mr Said and Mr D.Fiore will make up the 6 person squad.... Suspect that it will be Ingall/Kelly, Slade/Fiore and Morris/Said but we shall see |

so that narrows it to Kelly's or Tasman for MS should he chose to drive. i'm thinking comentry box most likely atm.

Perhaps GRM? I heard this week that they are currently in talks with a number of drivers for the 2nd car alongside Greg Ritter. Also, at Hamilton, Skaife openly commented on how impressed he was by the speed and attitude of the car. I would certainly prefer to drive a GRM Commodre over a Kelly or Tasman Racing Commodore ATM.

interesting to note how Mr Morris alludes to it being SCAR's decision on who sits in the Triple F car. If the Fiore's owned the REC, why does Mr Morris have a say? Thought it was just a prep deal?

I didn't read it that way... I was thinking more that Supercheap might kick in for the FFF car and have a 3 car team at the enduros? or alternatively Morris might need permission from SC to put Slade in a non-SC car?

if the car is leased and paid for then Mr Morris should have no say, the REC holder (Fiore's) will be the one(s) fined if the team does not show up with the requisite team members to field an entry
Mr Morris may have a say if he is to be "helping out" with an extra driver and/or funds to run an extra driver as i believe rik is alluding to |

Maybe choice of drivers was part of the lease deal? Who knows.... the Fiore's are obviously ok with it all.
All an REC entitles you to is an income...... |

Well spotted GTR - David Besnard to partner Greg Ritter in #34 GRM Commodore. What a scoop!!!
So much for those Skaife-rumours - I'd prefer Bezzy over Skaifey any day!! |

If you believe Mr Besnard's comments Here, there is an interesting explanation as to how one of the second DJR pilots was chosen.....

Regards to the SCAR Cars, Steve Ellery was seen out at the Holden driving centre a couple of days ago. Should we read anything into this?

My Favourite 08 moment was when Courtney/Besnard comeback drive at Bathurst. Courtney raced through to dominate the opening stint had 15 sec. gap to Lowndes who was in 2nd. In the 2nd stint a slowly deflating tyre (originally diagnosed as a damaged anti-roll bar) slowed Besnard's stint in Courtney's car allowing Whincup to assert dominance over the field rest of the race. On lap 160 S.Richards, fading badly on rear tyres was unable to stop Courtney move into 3rd place. |

geepers racenut, yo need to go back and check GTRs list on the previos page, a number of those combinations wont be together
but i doubt anyone is going to disagree about No.1 on your list, still they must be due for some dodgy luck |

Autosport magazine suggested that James Thompson new deal with Lada for the WTCC might interrupt his planned test/tests of the 888 Falcon, could this in turn affect the chances of him eventually turning up at all?

There arent too many available spots for Mr Skaife to put his bum in are there? With the last 'Perkins' seat taken by Mr McNally... its really only a Tasman seat going isnt it? |

So, the only real chances if the above is correct-
1, 2, 5, 7, 18, 33? Question mark on 5 and 7, if they're a chance, 3 and 8 could be roughies as well... |

... and another thing.
I'm sure of the theory behind splitting your ace drivers for the enduros. Keeping in mind that the points payout for Bathurst is the same as the 100km race at Winton, why not try and win the championship by winning Bathurst? |
