Dan Rear should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Roger, -06 didn't seem to appear after 1978 in UK/Ireland reports in MN/ASport. Many other B42s did, be it in Irish FAt, UK FAt or Aurora. I'm also looking at '78 ASports now, I'll keep an eye out. The Redditch BDG car is a mystery, OTOH there was only the Terry Fisher car, ex Ago-14 I think, that ran a BDG. Redditch sound like Chris Hodgetts, did he have the odd run in the John Stokes B42-02 from memory?

I forgot to give credit to Con Connolly for the photo`s of B42 06 when in Ireland posted earlier, his archive is a fantastic record of Irish motorsport.

Thanks Dan, I decided to have a clear out of old mags etc but found it`s very time consuming/wasting? re-reading old reports and some of the prices in the adverts bring tears to the eye!! but I did find a rare photo of my car from Autosport on March 16th 1978 also that Michael Bleekmolen seems to have replaced Boy Hayje at some time in the season so new leads to follow !!

Bleekemolen & Hayje both supported by that Dutch Property/Porn empire, F&S Properties, so its possible the former did have the odd outing in the car. Also pics of it re the Zandvoort Aurora round in May 78.

CHEVRON B42-78-06

I can`t believe it is four years almost to the day that we last posted on here, I am still looking for any history of this chassis from 1979 to 1985 part of which time it was definitely in Ireland, sadly people are passing on and memories are uncertain at this length of time, but just on the off chance that anyone does turn up any info I would be delighted to hear.
