Who will win the Spa 24 hours?

I hope for the GLPK C5R but I think it will be Aston Martin. Maybe Lamy-Kox-Goossens.

I can't see Aston Martin being beaten here, provided they don't break. It's the only "new" car on the entry list which has competed in a 24 hour race. The MC12's have yet to face such a test, leaving the C5-R's or the 550's to mop up if they too fail.

I don't know which one it'll be, but I'm saying Aston - they'll want to get this win after the disappointment of La Sarthe, so attempting an "intelligent guess" I'll say they'll have done whatever homework was needed and will want to prove they can last the distance.

You have to go for the Aston and in GT2 I'm going for a home win of sorts, ie my local team Embassy Racing.

Im going for #9 Vitaphone car, and in GT2 the #88 Gruppe M car is the obvious choice IMO.

If one of the Astons, Lamy-Kox-Goossens is my choice, does not win, then a GT2 to win overall, Gruppe M car?

I'd like to see GL-PK do it but suspect Larbre will get it right . In GT2 , perhaps one of the less financed and smaller teams for a change .....

Don't think that will happen again if it rains. Reliability of the GT1 cars has improved a lot since then. With the quality we have these days I think there will always be one around to take the win, even in the most extreme conditions.

The GLPK entry has a very strong driver line-up indeed. Kumpen and Hezemans know the car very well and Longin is probably the quickest of the Dollar-Drivers.

Jeroen Bleekemolen will be a star in this car, he was just as quick as Hezemans after a full 10 laps at Ricard a month ago. He's an exeptional driver and I'm hoping that he can breathe new life into his career by doing well in this race.

For some reason I just hope that it is not one of the Maseratis. I hope it is Larbre or GLPK.

Probably one of the Astons, but Larbre will show well and will be well-placed to clean up if the Astons stumble.

From their recent performance's Aston Matrtin will take some beating but , the C5R and the 550 still have a very proven record with respect to performance and reliability .

I really dont want to see a DBR9 win just yet . But if it is I hope its the Goossens car

I'll be there to check it out. I saw the Astons at LM (mighty quick but...) so I think a 550 will still be on the top. The Maseratis are the dark horse, never saw them last long either yet...

Highly unlikely, but I'm going for Lister:

a) Because nobody else has

b) Cos the Storm is truly on icon of GT racing over the last 10 yrs

c) Jag V12

d) Liz Halliday
