Action Express (the #5 at least) completed every lap last year, so no real surprise. Meanwhile the MSR car is off track...

Ah hah, thanks for that Bullman. That was the hope if the money could be found, great to see both cars will be back next year,

Hmm, Spencer pumpelly, CTSCC, repeat (as in: "this is the third time this has happened to me in my career" - he ran out of fuel leading, he made it back to the front straight and sat at pit entry) ? Hmm, nah, unlikely. |

Didn't know that, but also didn't think the safety crews would be flagging at a marshals post? Here's a screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/K7f3lIF.jpg

What is it with Bergmeister and Ferrari??
Hell of a race in GT/PC... really good stuff today. Very happy with this round. I can't wait until 2017. Last edited by MoMedic9019; 9 Aug 2015 at 22:00. |

There needs to be an all-pro lmp2 car. That last lap collision was tough to watch in gte. The Porsches were handed this race in bop. I hope the new gte rules get rid of this crap where one adjustment makes a certain car dominant.

I missed the race. Timing and scoring had the Deltawing and Mazda P2 at 1-2 laps behind the leader. Decent I guess, but I must ask, were they helped with FCY-get-back-on-the-lead-lap, or did they have legitimate pace?

afaict, their documented lack of pace reflects the state they're in, no funny fcy lap back business involved (except for the inevitable bunching up / regaining lost ground during the fcy we had roundabout L14).
I.e., answer option "legitimate pace" (mostly) |

I didn't watch this or read the results or care one way or another but regarding what TF110 is saying, Oliver Gavin on DSC:
“Going off of our first dry practice session this morning, the Porsche’s are blindingly fast. It goes back to the BOP stuff. I’m sure there are a few people scratching their heads. The car that got pole and won the race in Mosport by half a lap now gets a BoP break with an adjustment for less weight." |

If the 911's are that quick, the 458 is faster. Risi was pulling a consistent gap...
I love Ollie, but, this seems like pure grandstanding. While they both have a BoP "advantage"(use that term very loosely) BMW/Corvette have had a longstanding advantage. The C7R is capable of 1:57's at Road America. Just a little change for them, and they will be off into the sunset. IMSA knows. |

These cars need a set weight and dimensions with defined aero areas. It sounds like thats what next year is close to (I hope).

What I said isnt spec. Dimensions like width are needed so your car isnt 2.5 meters wide. Aero areas I mean like you cant put wings on your fenders, but you can make your diffuser strakes different, or your floor. Anything too free and theyll be like DTM & GT500 (not that Id mind).
