Fun online F1/BTCC management game

Hey, this is pretty fun. Unfortuantely, I was unable to find anywhere on the site that actually explained what to do, but I think I have it figured out. However, I did manage to crash my Renault on the very first lap of my very first attempt in Formula 1 and have yet to set a time.
 Just a couple questions for you. How often do they start new seasons, and do they ever have CART seasons? Do you automatically put down qualifying runs/races even if you aren't logged in, cause that's what it seems to have done?
