Pietro Fittipaldi is poised to drive WRT's second Audi this year as he's going to test with them at Lausitzring.

Interesting observation, in race 1 Rene Rasts brake bias adjuster seemed to break, it was spinning around on its own. In race 2 he was running a different version. Race 1 version had a gauge, race 2 didn’t.

I unable to watch the races, as I don’t seem to have freesports anymore on my freeview anymore. Interesting to hear that about Rast. Had race 2 happened yet though? Sounds an interesting first race

The English language stream is still on YouTube and both races were on. Maybe your country is geoblocked?

Well I might take a look if I can. DTM is always good to watch. And yes sometimes it does depend which country you are in

Last year full race replays on YouTube were geoblocked in Australia but no such problems for round one this year. I’m guessing whoever had the rights here have let them go.

In my opinion there Is no reason to sell rights for Little money to a pay TV or whetever you would call It. I'm pretty sure that very few people will Watch DTM in Italy on DAZN ... I don' understand this logic...
I watched some onboards of race 2, It seems It was a fun race, Rast always on top form There were some contacs in the back, I saw few cars spinning |

Rast is incredible, he won on his rookie year and dominated the second half of 2018 in a manner never seen in the modern era of DTM. If Audi maintains their form from testing and Race 2, Rast is a safe bet for 2019 title. I also have high expectations from Robin Frijns. He seems very strong this year.

Wittmann also is very strong but the BMW seemed a bit down in the per season testing. I think they were helped by the damp condition in Hockenheim. Let's see...
Anyway I agree, Rast Is the very best safe bet |

Yes, Wittmann was class of his own in wet race and qualifying but I'm afraid in dry conditions BMW is behind Audi. But I'd like to see Wittmann vs Rast rivalry this year

Wittman is definitely one of the top drivers in the series, especially in the wet. Just a shame the BMWs seem to be lacking a bit of pace atm. Once they find it, it will really close up front

How they can do it in terms of technical regulations not allowing any changes? It's the same as with F1 2014 and token system, it's the same as with LMP2. You have a clear №1 and all others. I'm curious why big bosses, with such a great examples to notice, still pushing that "freezing" theme. I bet it's going to be Audi-fest till competitors will be allowed to fix the chassis or engines. |

The only chance is to improve the package you have and maximise the potential. It seems Audi Is in the best position right now but BMW can improve during the year if the potential Is there. I'm curious about the Astons... |

Of course that is one stumbling book. Certainly Audi have the early advantage, but hopefully BMW have some speed that has yet to be unlocked. I’m not sure Aston will set the world on fire this season

Aston was a good surprise. Not sure all the cars were all the same. Di Resta's pace was a bit faster than the other boys.
