kmchow should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Nissan's entering full works cars!

But sadly, it's not in Europe. It's in the '03 Speed World Challenge--the top touring car series over here in NA!

Nissan has commissioned Real Time Racing to build and race the Nissan Sentra SE-R. I think the European name is called Sunny?

Nissan becomes the first full works teams. Mazda's (Protege/323) and Lexus (IS300) can be considered semi-works. BMW have very good privateer efforts. There is a promising effort by a privateer in 3 x VW Jettas/Boras.
And this is just for the sedans. For coupes, there is also the Honda RSXs which are very competitive.

I've always suggested the Speed World Challenge should split into a touring car sedan category and touring car coupe/hatchback category. The sedans are averaging a solid 12-13 (25% of starting grid) cars per a race. The high is something like 22 (40% of starting grid) sedans.

Peter Cunningham will drive a Nissan. I thought he was will be driving the RSX car with Kleinubrig. So Peter will have Acura and Nissan teams under his roof.

To me, doesn't it seem like a conflict of interest? How can a team run two competing cars at the moment? At least with Reynard, their Dodge Stratus/Ford Mondeo cars never competed against each other at the Works or semi-works level.
