Glen was driving the little escort very hard today, flat-shifting on his fast qualifying lap helped. It was surprising to see the speed of the car, it was fast enough out of the corners to keep up with the comaro's ect filling the McLean comaro's mirrors and harassing the back of him until the chev spun.
JB drove a great race and qualifying. His cleaner driving style allowed him to look after the car a lot more than the others. Mason was right under the back of JB's car coming into the last corner but JB's smooth exits allowed him to gain a second by the start finish line |

It's really annoying to see JB in a Chev...... it would have to be the first time that I wanted to see him lose a race in over 20 years! |

JB was being conservative to keep the brake and tyre temps down. They were a bit of a concern (you saw how fast they went off in the mason car when he started to push JB hard) If Bullas had a go, JB had the tyres and car under him to fight back.

Seton's car is way too noisy! Did well for a little car though.
Was a good race in the end. Very enjoyable. |

The Stillwall Escort Seton is driving has a 2litre Cosworth BDG in it and a 5speed box, Makes an extremely quick package, last year they were running a BDA 1600 in it.
