Any further news on the possibility of a VASC drive next season for "The Chick In The Datsun"?

Apart from the Porsche e-drive. Still can't figure out whether she is really good but driving a shitbox, or not quite as good as we had hoped.

Will the Supercheap branding follow Mostert? Earlier in the year, before it became clear that Mostert was WAU bound, Russell Ingall suggested that the sponsor would follow the driver, much like it did with him from Paul Morris to HRT. Although Castrol have for a long time also featured on Supercheap liveries as part of an arrangement the retailer has with a number of its suppliers, which would conflict with Mobil.

Surely Will Brown has a seat somewhere.

Definitely worth it,

Not Mobil.

It would require a new distribution arrangement... Not impossible, of course.

Would the premium pricing of Mobil 1, Mobil Delvac and Mobil Super oils clash with the ethos of being "Super Cheap"!?

My updated list

Confirmed (current driver *)

#12 - DJRTP - Ford - Fabian Coulthard*
#17 - DJRTP - Ford - Scott McLaughlin*

#7 - KR - Ford - Andre Heimgartner*
#15 - KR - Ford - Rick Kelly*

#6 - Tickford - Ford - Cam Waters*
#23 - 23Red - Ford - Will Davison*

#88 - RBHRT - Holden - Jamie Whincup*
#97 - RBHRT - Holden - Shane van Gisbergen*

#9 - Erebus - Holden - David Reynolds*
#99 - Erebus - Holden - Anton de Pasquale*

#19 - Sydney - Holden - James Courtney

#18 - Team18 - Holden - Mark Winterbottom*

#8 - BJR - Holden - Nick Percat*
#21 - TBR - Holden - Macauley Jones*
#3 - JSR - Holden - Jack Smith

Likely

#5 - Tickford - Ford - Lee Holdsworth*
#55 - Tickford - Ford - Jack Le Brocq

#81 - Team18 - Holden - Scott Pye

#2 - WAU - Holden - Chaz Mostert

Maybe

#91 - Sydney - Holden - Will Brown / Richie Stanaway

#22 - WAU - Holden - Todd Hazelwood

#35 - MSR - Holden - Tim Slade / Michael Caruso
#36 - MSR - Holden - Garry Jacobson

#14 - BJR - Holden - Bryce Fullwood

Looks like we will be saying goodbye to Simona unfortunately, it would have been good to see her in a competitive car. It's a pity the 888 deal never eventuated last year.

I wonder who else will be left standing when the music stops? Slade? Hazelwood? Stanaway? I think Golding won't be in Supercars in 2020 but will be racing other categories with GRM.

Pye has been a wasted talent at DJRTP and WAU, is he off to BJR or MSR? I would imagine both require a, dowry

Apparently bound for Team Forklift? Pretty solid line up actually.

If he couldn't win with DJRTP equipment, then is he really a "wasted talent" as such?

He's said to be off to Team 18, where endless possibilities await him

I find it ironic how a fair chunk of his 2016 results were scrubbed due to various technical infringements when Penske was knocking on the door.

Yet in 2016 they were more than twice better placed in the Teams' Championship than Team 18 currently is.

Is there a broken record here?

Also duh, just quietly they were a 2 car team.

No broken records from Team 18, that's for sure Mixup.
Just leaves the one you're playing.

Hence more than twice better placed.
Based on your analysis you should be able to work out how to categorise T18.

at that stage DJR were crapolla and lets face it, its only turned around since Penske and Scotty got involved.

Pye is a wasted talent I think.
