I dont like the sound of HSVDT having split liveries (silver corporate branding for Ruck Killy and Autobarn for Dumb-bell).

I guess it also confirms Toll going to HRT, like that was news.

Skeletons as in alleged financing arrangements/caveats/liens that may or may not have the original owner of the 2008 car licence as the beneficial owner of the franchise, despite it being housed in a different legal entity....

(No disrespect to Britek or TRD but you'd think a suitably imported 207 or Grande Punto would at a fraction of the cost leave the field of locally made unhomologated mungrels in the dust , there must be 30+ of each running around and they must have had near 5-10 million spent on their development by crack world rally associated preparers under full factory backing...)

...Pirtek on the number 9 SBR just wouldn't sound right... Waldens need a sponsor afterall, tax deductible donation of charity?

Mr ambrose was busy driving his ford sponsored product around daytona today. i dont think he is unemployed.

Heres me just putting some of the hot rumours from the silly season together.

SBR will be running three cars. Bessie will be driving an SBR car.

does Mr Moffatt have a contract with a make?

Has Bargs actually officially been confirmed at WPS? There was a suggestion in enews late last year that this might not be the case.... does he fit the criteria of a driver with a Ford contact but potentially no drive? And what of Mr Canto's relationship with Holden? Probably isn't one. Bugger. I realise that whatever deal the Waldens are working on will involve a cashed-up driver, and this probably counts Canto out, but stranger things have happened..... (The Waldens turning up would be one of those!)

WPS seem to be in a spot of bother over delivery of the ex-FPR chassis.... presumably the song and dance routine from FRSR may have delayed (or terminated?) the delivery of these cars...

But none of those sponsors are what you would call 'standard' sponsors are they?

Doesn't it go something like.......

Toll - race team deal linked to Holden/HSV road car transport.
Mobil 1 - race team deal linked to Holden/HSV standard road car oil supply.
HSV - owned by same Scotsman who runs all four cars.
Autobarn - sponsorship courtesy of new 'gun' signing's daddy.

Surely if this is how the sponsors are lined up (which probably won't be the case anyway), it wouldn't be too hard to do some driver swapping........ plenty of leverage there.
