Andrew Cowan 1936-2019 RIP
Sad to report the passing of one of Rallying's greats, Andrew Cowan. Perhaps
Britain’s greatest long-distance rally driver, his prowess earned Cowan many awards, including the Jim Clark Memorial Trophy and the British Racing Drivers’ Club’s John Cobb Trophy for outstanding success. Condolences to his wife, Linda, his family and friends. RIP Andrew Cowan Quote:

Another of the ever present legendary names in motor sport from my younger days moving on to a different stage.
Such a broad involvement with varieties of the sport over many years that it make me wonder whether anyone in the modern era could have the same opportunity potential let alone the level of success. RIP Mr. Cowan. |

Just caught up with this news. I worked for Andrew for 4+ years at Ralliart and they were some of the best days of my life.
RIP Andrew. |
