He's more than double the record of points made up within 3 races. JJ owns it again. |

So, JJ has won four titles thanks to a season's worth of work.
The Chase, which was brought in for people with IQs in single digits who could not comprehend the idea of a whole year's worth of racing, has managed to make NASCAR about as fascinating as accountancy. We could have had an absolute stormer of a points battle between Johnson and Stewart, and last year it would have gone down in legend as a quasi-1992 battle. Instead you could not suck the tension out more had you told everyone at the start of Dallas who shot JR. Marketing. You can't live with them, and you can't live with them. |

the most painful thing about all these comparisons is that Awesome Bill lost the closest points battle in Cup history and it is brought up time and time again. however, if he had won in 1992, the whole Kulwicki Underbird legend would've never happened. still makes me want to shed a tear every time I walk into a Hooters and see the Kulwicki posters everywhere, for more than one reason. RIP Alan. |

I want Monty to come on even stronger next year (straight out of the box - looking for wins).
