In all of this two things have been lost.
1.It was a direct answer to a question asked by a journo. The question possed to Mark was who do you think is better Kimi or JPM?Marks answer has been edited. In his answer when the whole artical is publised in March motor mags in Aus the true answer Mark gave will be revealed.Suffice to say we have only seen a portion of it. 2.Possibly the best ever F1 driver of this era MS has said that Mark will be world champion as he has two things in his favor.Getting an ordinary car to go fast and being able to go fast when its wet. Oh yeh, and mine for who's better....
I see Kimi as a Prost and JPM as a Senna. You decide who's better!! |

No disrespect...but its really insulting to compare Senna to JPM.
JPM is good...but definitely NOT THAT good to be Senna II. |

Of which no one is, and surely the same can be said in comparing Prost to Kimi? In traits I think JPM is nearer Senna than Kimi is to Prost.
I can see the sentiment though, but the Kimi/Montoya partnership at McLaren has a long way to go to be anywhere near the Prost/Senna partnership! It'd help if they actually were team mates! |
