X-Fred should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
RALT rt31

My new car is a RALT rt31 #716. I am searching for information about is first driver.
I think it's ex Eric Bernard or Eric Comas in F3 french championship 87.
It was black (now red) and fitted with Alfa-Novamotor TS.
No races since 1998, before perhaps hill-climbing in Belgium and club in France (drivers Didier Boulanger and Patrick Perrette).
Thanks for your help.

Warm welcome X-Fred, thanks for coming here to ask for help.

In 1987 Eric Bernard drove for Winfield Racing I believe. I think the F3 cars for that team were black with blue Elf signage? Can't recall who drove the other car. Alesi the champion drove a Dallara run by his family team IIRC and Comas, also drove a Dallara or so I thought?

Other Ralt's were driven by the likes of Gilles Lempereur and possibly Didier Artzet?

That's off the top of my head though.

Thank's for your welcome.

The Ralt Winfield was black (confirmed bye Erik Comas).
In France almost Ralt were powered by VW engines (Artzet, Bachelart, Lanctuit, ..) or Toyota (Cheli). Only the Winfield had Alfa-Novamotor.

In 1987, Eric Bernard and Erik Comas in France, Mickael Johansson in Sweden, Vito Boffa in Italy, Graham de Zille and Bertrand Gachot in UK and Mauricio Gugelmin for Macau GP drove a rt31 Alfa.

In 1988, Claude Degremont bought Eric Bernard's car, Johansson kept his car and the BVM team engaged 2 cars in Italy.

Johansson's car is actually for sale and #714 have been sold recently in France (probably ex-Bernard).

Unfortunately Ralt factory have no informations about the rt31 first owners.
