Manning to race in the 24 hours of Daytona

Brit Darren Manning will team up with Scott Dixon, Scott Pruett and Max Papis for the Daytona 24 hours next February for Chip Ganassi.
The re-newed contract for 2005 in the IRL means he will drive the team's Riley-Lexus MkX1s in the opening round.

"I nearly did it this year, but we only had one car. It will be nice to do a 24-hour race and Daytona is a pretty huge one. I'm looking forward to it. To get Scott Dixon, Scott Pruett and Max Papis on board is a bit of a strong team.

Manning welcomed his 3 year contract at Ganassi in the IRL.

"To have my contract sorted for this early is great for me.
I feel I'm really getting my teeth into the team and the car, and my results over Scott have shown that.
now I can build on it".

Is this the right attitude for a driver to have? Surely he can let the results speak for themselves.
