Hi All just had the below email regarding Dave

Quote:
Hi everyone,
Dave had a motorcycle accident on Sunday morning due to a 4x4 turning right across his bow leaving him no where to go but into and over.
He was conscious and was attended to very promptly and air ambulance summoned to scene.
He was airlifted to James Cook University Hospital, in Middlesbrough Teesside where he is stable and awaiting operations to both wrists, arm, and knee. He is in medium spirit because the surgeons are concerned that he may have a blood clot and have delayed operations.
However I understand from a discussion at 10.15pm last night that he will have a light breakfast this morning and hopefully operated on later today.
I am sure you all share with me the wish that everthing will be fine and he wil recover steadily over the next 8-12 weeks. He certainly has not lost his general good humour.

Any email follow ups that require an answer will be dealt with by me Geoff Simpson, (if you need geoffs email pm me)

AS a thought if everyone sends to Dave a donation in favour of the North East Air Ambulance that would be in reflection of the recovery of our friend so quickly that it would be better than a beer.
Regards
Geoff Simpson using daves computer.

The Darlington & District Motor Club of which Dave is a member and Vice President will be happy to coordinate the collection of donations to the Air Ambulance, any one wishing to donate through this route can send donations to me and the club will forward a cheque to them after the Great and British meeting at Croft on the 22nd & 23rd August so all people attending will be mugged for donations as well.
Make cheque payable to DDMC Ltd and send to
DDMC
c/o 99 Windsor Road
Stockton on Tees
TS18 4DZ
I will update on all donations recieved, I am sure the Club will chip in as well

Steve

ps we will possibly buy Dave some when he is able to partake
