Quite a few top GT cars with barely any running so far. The Aston #97 hasn't turned a lap yet but I think has just gone out.

Yeah a lot of partial laps and maybe not showing everything. Pechito just set a nice lap, two tenths off the best time.

Eve said they still have Nick Daman, Shea, Bruce Jones and Owen Mildenhall to add to the team for race day. Did they have Jeremy Shaw last year?

Gemma does some work for Racecar Engineering so I think she's come in via Sam Collins. Specialty in tyres.

They got a significant cut in boost across the rev range, that means they lost power and that will hit them in straight line speed.

I don't think it's Ford's turn to win this year. Really unless you're lobbying to get a BoP break the test day isn't a whole lot of use in GT Pro in my opinion.


In P2, I'd be keen to see what Albuquerque can do in the Ligier. Slightly depressing it's a complete Oreca show up front, but really all the top guys are in that 07. Filipe is really the only absolute top calibre guy in a non-Oreca. Maybe you could say Jeroen Bleekemolen but I'm not expecting too much out of that Riley.

Agree with Trussers on BoP. The ACO made a rod for their own back by making such late changes last year. Expect the lobbying to go on deeeeeep into race week. No way in hell Ford are actually this slow.

The reality is that until the option to tweak the GT car performance is removed then manufacturers will always play for those BoP breaks.
