Quite a few top GT cars with barely any running so far. The Aston #97 hasn't turned a lap yet but I think has just gone out.

So the fastest P2 car is the best part of 8 mph faster than the fastest LMP1H in a straight line.... Astonishing.

So, have the Fords overestimated the amount of sand they need at this stage? All three cars bringing up the rear by a substantial margin in GTEPro.....

They got a significant cut in boost across the rev range, that means they lost power and that will hit them in straight line speed.

Agree with Trussers on BoP. The ACO made a rod for their own back by making such late changes last year. Expect the lobbying to go on deeeeeep into race week. No way in hell Ford are actually this slow.
The reality is that until the option to tweak the GT car performance is removed then manufacturers will always play for those BoP breaks. |
