Is the ERA R9b? That would be a good starting place for a Porsche name.

Well you have all been through Kindergarden, so now me move up to Juniot School for our next lesson in spelling.

Are we looking for a man or a car? Or both? It is easy - really!

I think the answer is Ferrari Breadvan:

Bentley
RED car (no idea what it is)
Austin Healey (the A is inserted in the RED above)
VANwall

Congratulations on your new position as President of the Stupido Club.

Vanwall indeed. You could ne shot for such an insult to another fine marque.

RB got it instantly, but he knows his historic cars.

I can see what the problem is here. It is all down to the generation gap. With most of RBS's puzzles I have not a clue as to what any of the cars are, yet expect everyone to recognise a BRM (for instance).

Does that help?

I'm not sure what the hell is going on here?

This thread started out as a nice, sensible thread posting pictures and asking sensible questions about them.

Now it's turned into a free-for-all with ludicrously kryptic questions about god knows what else! It's like the automotive version of 'Only Connect', and those of you who've seen that must know it can only go downhill from here!

I'd also like to refer you all to rule 5b in the previously published list of rules. Now, the keen eyed amongst you might well shout that there was no rule 5b, and, admittedly, that might seem to be the case on the face of it. However, it's not my fault if some of you can't be bothered to go and search out the full list of rules.

So, for the benefit of the bone idle, rule 5b is below:

5b: No rules can be changed, other than those rules for which change is allowable. Please refer to rule #5.

Please bear this in mind when posting.

Paul, may I kindly tell you that your last question is a little bit too long.
Rule # Number: ask question, dont put waffles!
Surprised not to have to find a driver… Two possible answers, Mireille Mathieu and Général de Gaulle.
356 will confirm…

Another Stupido who confuses the a sleek, good looking Grand Prix car with a huge ugly (OK effective) Vanwall.

Raymond Mays will be fuming in the afterlife.

It is a BRM for goodness sake, do you people know nothing of Formula 1?

Is there a despair emoji?

Er! Paul. here is a picture to identify.
