Convert Van Diemen RF93 Zetec to 1600

Has anyone got any details on conversion of Zetec RF93 to 1600? How much is involved? The RF93 has monoshock on the front. Can this be used in 1600? Or would this be a disaster to convert?

I think Neil McArthur races one in the NWFF champs but had a lot of trouble getting it to work as well.

The 92 1600 was monoshock.
Dave Hart (dhart) converted one or more I think. Try PMing him. He's helpful...

IIRC it's like a 92 at the front with a massive arse-end!

What do you think would be a fair price to pay for an RF93 in zetec trim?

everything depends on condition doesn't it but would struggle to see any possibility of more than £4k as a roller. Depending on condition/what's included maybe as low as £2k - there's no market for them.

Try Brett Lupton in Australia he does a mean 93 94 or 95 conversion and calls it a stealth its as quick as all the 03 cars. He owns Fastlane Racing in Perth.

Its got a zetec engine in the back.

Is there a website for the stealth conversion kit or does anyone here have more details on exactly what needs changing?

The chassis is not expensive but when you add up the rest, it doesn't work out cheap unless you have a donor car. Someone with an RF92 might find it a bargain.

av8rirl , i have converted a 93 into kent spec and it was a very easy conversion. It will work as well as a 92, just ask Derek M!
PM me if you need any info
