neilap should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
GW and Williams

He was given most of the blame for the cars aero difficiencies last year. Now this year the car may even be worse. BAR finally has a good aero package. I wonder how many people at Williams are now hoping they had kept their mouths shut?

I agree, but it's too early to tell. Even so I think Williams laid the blame on Geoff because it was easy and it convinced BMW that Williams was taking a new tack once the bad apple had been discarded. I believe they have an woman as their chief aerodynamcist now. (ex-Ferrari lass) Anyway I don't think the Williams last year was a dog at all. Michelin's failure to produce a consistent race tyre translated very easily into Willis's failure as a designer.

Anyway, for what its worth which I suspect is nothing, I think the BAR looks better than Williams from an asthetic point of view. Nice and neat with clean lines; however, the blotchy rear-end colour scheme doesn't do it justice. Criticism that it looks like last years Williams are quite unfounded too IMO. Berger recently claimed that the new BAR even had the same mid-corner oversteer as FW 24.

I still think Williams will be better than we think at the moment. Willis was blamed for not using the Sauber type suspension last year. I find it hard to believe that with so many tech individuals flocking from BMW to Williams as we heard last year that the new car is a dog.

Patrick Head criticism was more to do with the way that willis ran the department than the actual results. He was reluctant to expand and Head thinks this was holding them back long-term.
