Right then - here we go again...

Bouncing back from the slight disappointment of the Hot Hatches yesterday, I'm already planning the next race. I aim to finish this one - I'm beginning to forget what it's like to take the chequered flag

At least I know what the circuit is like now - even though we'll be using the Foster's circuit this time, whereas the Island circuit was in use yesterday..

The timetable for qualifying is:

09:00 - Formula Frod 1600 Class C and D
09:25 - VSR6 and VSR8 (formerly known as Eurocars)
09:45 - VW cup
10:10 - FF1600 Class A and B
10:30 - Mighty Minis
10:55 - Classic FF1600
11:15 - Super Mighty Minis

Racing, from 1pm..:

1. FF1600 C & D (14 mins)
2. VSR6 and VSR8, race 1 (20 mins)
3. VW cup, race 1 (14 mins)
4. FF1600 A & B (14 mins)
5. Mighty Minis (14 mins)
6. VSR6 and VSR8, race 2 (20 mins)
7. VW cup, race 2 (14 mins)
8. Classic FF1600 (14 mins)
9. Super Mighty Minis (14 mins)

Right then, I know some people can't make it - but who's coming?

Sorry bloke. Gotta work Was pondering the idea of coming up for the race afterwards if we finish early, but it looks impossible going on the timetable you posted

However, for anyone who's not yet been to a Mighty Mini race, I can heartily recommend it... a great bunch!

I like the fact hey have more power than grip, but that's about as far as I'll venture down the being impressed by Eurocars road I'm afraid.

Chris, sorry about the hi-jacking, I won't be at Oulton this weekend (its too far and I'm at a stag weekend) but I will see you as Combe a week on Monday.

Woody R, you're right, most racig is good, but you need at least another 25 cars for me to get slightly excitied about Eurocars.

Cor, deary me. So apart from Mini's we're offered spindly single-seaters, Volkswagens and some other stuff...

If it were anyone but you, Chris, I probably wouldn't turn out for this.

But I shall. See you on Saturday. (Thinks - will have to get down to Brands on the Sunday and catch some mega-horsepower to complete the weekend....)

If it were anyone but you, Chris, I probably wouldn't turn out for this.

Believe me - I wouldn't either Although we're racing on some of the best tracks this year, and skipping the far-flung tracks, I get the feeling we've got the bum deal as far as the scheduling goes. We're clashing with loads, and the other races are not particularly exciting.

Still - we'll try and make up for it with some close spectacular racing. Let me know where you'll be watching from and I'll get Stew Jenner to spin in front of you

Woody - 2CVs are funny, that's part of the attaction! Seeing them bounce around and really lean into the corners is great, and there's usually loads of 'em too

Eurocars can be good too, but generally on twisty tracks. They weren't bad at Cadwell, but I can imagine they'd be tedious at Combe or Thruxton.

Hope you can make it Woody and Tim, and have fun at that stag weekend Marshal!

Thanks chuck. There's a *small* chance that you might see me there, but it's very unlikely Depends on work - worked crazy hours today to try and make inroads into it, but doesn't look promising

Let's hope you do a better job than I did!! Ask Chris at LEAST fifteen times before he starts the race if he has enough petrol on board. He might get annoyed at first, but he'll thank you in the long run!!

Hmm. I'm thinking brake fluid oil stuff is going to be okay for this time, but like Sparky says, you're going to have to keep an eye on the fuel type go-juice.

It's in that big red can down there, the one you're holding the cigarette near

As I type, Voggie is relaxing in the peaceful surrounds of Oulton, parked next to Chris Hunter and Stew Jenner

Hope you can make it Craig and Woodster...

Great day, well worth going to Plus we got the extra value of seeing Chris in two Mini races - he was allowed out to play with the big boys in the Super Mighty Minis.
