Cancer runraising Walk Manchester

hi all
I've been drafted into doing the Shine walk in Manchester on 17th April 2010
by my girl friend
its a walk at night in aid of Cancer research and we've put down to do the half marathon 13.1 miles.
(we've done the full 26.2miles Playtex moonwalk twice before and its a killer LOL)
and i was wondering if anyone would like to sponsor me for this event?
if you would please visit my fund raising site:-
http://www.sponsormetoshine.org/stephencresswell

and for more detail of the Manchester Shine walk have a look at
https://shine.cancerresearchuk.org/

Many thanks and cya on the bank in 2010

I'll be at Oulton Park on the Sunday 21st Feb Training day
and I'll be asking for sponsors for my half marathon walk in Manchester
in aid of Cancer research.

I've acquired a new copy of 50 Years of Motorsport Marshalling
and I'll be giving this to the highest sponsor.
(in the event that more that one person pledges the same amount, the book will go to the first to do so.)

so please come and fine me on the day.
steve cresswell the name on my probans.

many thanks

sponsorship

Hi Steve
Definitely put my name down for a fiver, hopefully I will be there on Sunday
After suffering twice from this myself, I know how important this work is.
If I'm not there, ask Garry to put his hand in his pocket for me

Good on yas & good luck with the training for it

Well done Sparky! When I see you at OP I'll guess I'll have to put my hand in my pocket and drag out some cash.

I will be at this one in a spectator capacity so it will give me plenty of time to hunt you out.

Congratulations, Steve. Pity it wasn't more but every little helps as they say.

There used to be a day at Oulton to raise money for McMillan Nurses where people could pay to be taken round in various vehicles, but it stopped a few years ago. I don't know why but it was a shame because I'm sure it raised a lot of money for a very worthy cause.
