Access to the Grand Prix Circuit for cyclists is available throughout the weekend at the following times: 18:30 - 20:00hrs on Friday 30 April; 18:30 - 20:00hrs on Saturday 01 May; and at 18:30 - 20:00hrs on Sunday 02 May

Any marshalls going to be doing this cycle thing? .... a small group of orange/black clad would be a bonding session for us and the new circuit layout....

there for all three days arriving Thursday pm ....

Not seen it posted here yet, but a provisional timetable is up on the GT1world.com website: http://gt1world.com/news/article/sil...ent-timetable-

If I had known what fun the GT1 event was going to be, I would have gone for this instead of the BTCC, but you live and learn. Have fun guys....

Got tickets and info now, thanks Tony.
Only doing Friday, because I'm a BTCC tart, so it's off to Brands for the weekend.

Sorry mate - Silverstone is getting a bit of a kicking from all sides at the moment & I just wanted to stick up for it, as it's my home circuit

If it wasn't for a clash with Shelsley I'd have been straight there. I have asked the organisers to pick a different week-end next year!

When requesting passes, could everyone remember to state the reason (see here.

If marshalling, no problem, but if for neighbour's best friends cousin's uncle...

I wouldn't bet on it... a few weeks ago someone ended up buried up to their waist and had to be "snatched" out of the mud by a JCB...

How many of the Knockhill crew are coming down for this one?

Live coverage of the Silverstone qualifying stage for year's inaugural FIA GT1 World Championship motor-racing series.

Tickets have arrived and everything, but sadly my girlfriend's still waiting for overalls from AWS, and its looking unlikely that they'll turn up. Anyone got any suggestions on sensible visible clothing as an alternative this time out? Or, anyone got an orange vest or anything?

Cheers.
