Anders, the reason why I believe it was disrespectful of the Medical workers and the injured Marshal is that as they where attempting to save the marshal's life, every two minutes for twenty minutes they had a pack of LOUD cars trundling by. Ever try to talk during an F1 race? If the Doctors can't hear one another, then their work is compromised. If the injured man subjected to severe injuries and in shock cannot have peace, then we are barbarians. It took ten laps behind the safety car before the ambulance left the track; A Helicopter could have removed him faster.

1)1/5th of the race took place behind the safety car, that shows no respect for the audience.

2) 9 cars, including Button were eliminated due to first lap and subsequent pace lap incidents, doesn't the audience deserve a full race field?

3) You can bet your behind that on a restart that the field would have gotten through those turns.

4) And again, none of you seems to realize that in stating that a restart would be too dangerous and that ten laps behind the safety car were not too many, remember that the circus returns to Monza next September, do you propose starting that race behind the Safety Car?

Valve Bounce has been held in scrutiny for further testing
I cincur with your entire post, EERO. Just wish we can have some thought to the starts in future. The chicanes are there ostensibly for safety reason - do they really achieve that purpose? Any thoughts everyone??
