TuteZaek should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
2023 Argentine Touring Car Series

After a really busy week here in the country and still kinda with the after effects of the world cup party...

We start the 2023 thread with the anouncement made by ACTC of the presentation of the calendars of their series, that will be made from Base Marambio on Antartica, this wedsnesday.

Manu Urcera's championship winning Torino is expected to be there (acording to rumors)

It isn't the first time ACTC visits Marambio, and if the car goes with them, it wouldn't be the first time that a Torino is there too, since in 2011 there was an exhibition with a "Toro" doing some 200km/h passes on the antartic soil.

More silly season news:
The Maquin Parts team wil go from being an all Torino team to a mixed one again with 2023 Champion Urcera staying for another season with the brand, Todino leaving his "Toro" for the Dodge that ucera used for 2 races this year, and new to the team Okulovich getting on another Torino, leaving, potentially, the Camry for Gini

Another one with changes is TC2000 Champion Pernia, who will continue with the Ambroggio team in TC2000 but on TC is leaving Las Toscas (and the Torino that won 2 races this year, including the last one, who aparently has already a driver) to get on the Guri Martinez Ford that was driven by JB de Benedictis.
De Benedictis in change is going to the Catalan Magni Team, again with Ford

Another "big name" change is happening in the Rus-Med team who anounced Ardusso (coming from really good races in LRD and Maquin Parts) and ex F1 Fontana as drivers for the 2 Torinos and Nico Bonelli for their Ford.

Finally on the technical side of the TC, the ACTC anounced the unification of weight for all brands in 1315 kg (the weight of the 2021 Ford) thus making the Torinos 15 kg heavier (1300kg on 2021), the Dodge and Chevrolet 10kg lighter (1325kg for 2021) and the Toyota 25 Kg lighter (1340 kg on 2021).
Also Dodge will be allowed a bigger front splitter for this year

Toyota will have three cars in the TC2000 for Julián Santero, Lucas Bohdanowicz and Isidoro Vezzaro.

Fabián Yannantuoni will compete at the Turismo Nacional with a Fiat Tipo and at the TCR South America with details TBC.

Matias Milla is out of Ambrogio and has no ride in any series.

In the making, Who and When still to see, Honda are, afaik, the ones who said a clear "yes, we're making one for 2023" and since they're togetter with the FDC team they will be fast, and possibly polemic.

They are expecting the arrival of a pair of HRVs chassis for February to start the work.
