There is a reducing number of UK entries to LMC
It’s probably arguably the best historic meeting anywhere .
Pity,let’s see what happens next year

Are you experiencing any logistical difficulties John? I can see that expense may be a driver for the reduction but wondered if there may be another reason.

We would have had more entries but these extra cars need carnets and we can’t be arsed to get these for cars that will only enter EU once this year.. We are already trailering some of our cars in our old Race box and Land Rover so we don’t need carnet for those.
That along with weakness of sterling will effect entries
Could be we are all getting ( or got) old and not that many younger people doing the international race series.
I have had over forty entries in the 10 editions of LMC and think this and perhaps one car next year will be my last go

Weather good
Finished night practise at 2 am this morning
Talbots one and two in qualifying but a bit misleading as think Talbot Largo quicker but it had a few problems.
Should be as GP car with wings
Pity is that a few cars are running without wings
But if it makes them happy!!
Elva 160 GT twentieth but all cars in front of it have engines at least twice as big so gang happy
64 Ford GT40 ideal time as been put in 67/72 grid Messrs Birch/Burnett are happy campers at this moment but see what next 24 brings

Very long unusual pit stop for the 356 during qualy.
Two french E Types with blown engine (Lajournade) and engine (Rivet-Fusil). The D Type goes well (de Selancy) knowing he's a newbie at LMC and has an unadapted gearing.
