Weather good
Finished night practise at 2 am this morning Talbots one and two in qualifying but a bit misleading as think Talbot Largo quicker but it had a few problems. Should be as GP car with wings Pity is that a few cars are running without wings But if it makes them happy!! Elva 160 GT twentieth but all cars in front of it have engines at least twice as big so gang happy 64 Ford GT40 ideal time as been put in 67/72 grid Messrs Birch/Burnett are happy campers at this moment but see what next 24 brings It’s a long way! |

Very long unusual pit stop for the 356 during qualy.
Two french E Types with blown engine (Lajournade) and engine (Rivet-Fusil). The D Type goes well (de Selancy) knowing he's a newbie at LMC and has an unadapted gearing. |
