'Revival of the Fittest' - Autosport, 22 June, 2006

Unashamedly, I plug my son's piece in this week's Autosport, Page 140, since it promotes the events which this forum loves to discuss. Constraints on word count prevent anything more than a 'scratching the surface' approach and I know he would have liked to have written ten times as much as he was able. A lot of events don't get a mention (eg, the Silverstone Classic) or the fact that so many one make clubs organise historic races but this merely serves to show how big the historic racing movement is.

Interesting views from Martin Stretton also feature in the article.

It's good to see the subject appearing in Autosport alongside the modern stuff.

As much as I like Motorsport it mostly attracts those of us who already have an interest in Historic racing.

Yes, short, but good article

Does your son write on a regular or freelance basis for Autosport?

Kevin is effectively deputy editor of Autosport National (although I don't think that is his official job title).

It's amazing where being a contributor to FF1600.co.uk can take you!

zac, see page 129!

Ian, I think it is official now, as that is the title that appears on the top of the National page.

Nice opportunity to plug the FF1600.co.uk site. (quite right, too!)

Excellent news and well-deserved. It's good to have a team on the National desk as enthusiastic and committed as the current one.
