F2 Red Bull ring
We have some news on how these cars will start, Behind the safety car due to all those stalling issues from most of the races so far. Russell will be 1st car behind the SC as he got pole for the feature race.

I understand the reason for the SC starts and agree that ditching the standing start is correct at the moment but if they are going to do it at least use a traditional rolling start rather than a normal SC procedure. Hate the way motorsport is going with the removal of any excitement, a DRS flap for everyone and the sanitising of everything.

given that many, if not most of the field has never done a proper disciplined rolling start before they’re probably going with the right choice...

Boschungs car broke down, he gets back to the pits and screams at some F2 staff, tensions clearly running high.
Aitkens car stops now, SC again. Some great action in the midfield to be fair, only feel sorry for anyone who’s at the front of the pack because they have little chance to defend against DRS.

Add Deletraz to the list of retirements, Gunther struggling with a high oil temperatures and destroyed tyres. Shoutout to Markelov though, on 35 lap old tyres he’s putting in laps similar to Russell. Merhi put in a great drive. RIDICULOUS last lap for Markelov, unbelievable.

Markelov deserves some respect. If he had born in UK, France or Germany, he would be already in every F1 team radar.

I agree Juntos, i think he has shown enough that he at the least deserves a chance. As we all know it comes down to funding, honestly think he would be a good fit for a WEC team.

IMHO he is too young to be looking for a drive in second-tier categories.

In a paddock with some lovely people, but which also has more than its fair share of nasties and unpleasant individuals, it looks like we might just have got rid of the two biggest pricks. Hopefully for good.
