The 'Ring, 1973

I have no idea if anyone else will find this interesting, but it floated my boat.

Howden Ganley lapping Nurburgring with on board camera footage, narrated by Sir Jackie Stewart.

The car is an Iso Marlboro IR of Frank Williams Racing Cars.

Outstanding!!!!

I laughed out loud at several points....especially when he said "bucking bronco". I thought he had said a naughty word!!

And speaking of naughty....how 'bout all that suspension movement!!

I'd love to see footage of some of the higher-paid but lesser-talented drivers of today drive around that place in one of those old cars.

I'd want the clean underwear concession for that little exercise.

That was insane, wasn't it?!?

I just watched it again, and had missed Cevert at the end the first time. Magic stuff.

Your right about today's drivers...no wonder Ganley is sitting so high up in the cockpit, with the size of the stones he was driving with.

Always interesting to see in car around the Ring.

A very calm Derek Bell in a Porsche 956:

Thanks, that was fantastic. I don't think you would get any of today's drivers doing that.
