MrBluesman1 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Ross Brawns 2003 Race Diary

http://www.autosport.com/newsitem.asp?id=25564&s=5

just read this and of course Ross Brawn would say that(Malaysia) and on the other side of course Patrick Head would say what he said. That is the nature of humans, some people though at times fail to see both sides of the coin and these 2 guys (among many many others) are a good example of this.
You could certainly throw Ron Dennis and the FIA in with them as well. I do however like seeing Ross Brawn getting beaten because he takes it nearly as badly as Uncle Ron does

a good read if nothing else

a good one here from MrBrawn
"We had good straightline speed and Michael was on the brakes properly where he needed to be, and was not using the brakes where he didn't need to use them."

One would think this would be the case MrBrawn

On the whole I agree that Head's whining was not justified.
Of course Ross here presents his point of view, as Patrick did some weeks ago.
About brakes, I wouldn't extract the sentence fron its context, otherwise it loses its sense, as showed by Mr Bluesman's excerpt

even if you read the bit about brakes failing you would still think brakes would be used where needed and not where they weren't needed, common sense

Errr, not quite. On a very quick lap, you may use the brakes in more places than you would on lap at 95% or even 99%, especially with TGF's karting/2-foot/gas-and-brake-simultaneously driving style. He was being very kind to his brakes so that they could live the race distance... not using them to control the car's handling as much as he normally would, and maybe lifting off the throttle a little earlier and braking a little lighter than normal.
