Rallycrossuk Web Site

Would be nice if the web site had more info posted on it !
Please dont take this as a knock , but perhaps the powers of be should consider posting info such as the exsiting news of tv coverage, who's entering etc!
If i was a outside person i would look at the web site say thats boaring and log off .
Please more info .

Upside Down Bug should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Hi Chris

The new website is about to go online (hopefully over this weekend), and it will have all the info you suggest. I understand there is a slight technical problem beyond Richard's control. I have seen a preview and it looks very good indeed.

New Rallycrossuk.com site now live!

Hi,
The new site is now live at www.rallycrossuk.com

This redirects to my own server for the short term until we get the domain transfer sorted!

Enjoy!

The new website is a HUGE improvement over the old one!
It's good to have the extra's like wallpaper's and video's (Coming soon) I already have the Pat/Dermot on my PC offshore!

But like Bert Mk2 said, all that needs doing now is to keep it updated.

It even still has me on it! (Marshal's section, I'm the one in the big hat!!)

Good work ripla!

RampItUp has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Hi all, newbie here, just returned to the UK after living in New Zealand for a while. Big fan of Rallycross and most motorsport. Although I don't want my first post to be too negative I can't say I'm overly impressed with the new website. The content is okay, but the design is, frankly, dull. Rallycross is about fun, excitement and speed, but I'm not getting it here. I'm sure the BRC want to project a professional image but this is too corporate and bland for my taste.

Anyway looking forward to Lydden on Monday and hoping to make as many BRC and RSS events that my time and budget will allow.

No, I made a half-hearted attempt to start racing quite a few years back, but it fell through due to lack of time and money!

Just an enthusiastic spectator this season who's getting a feel for the different events and series going on. If I enjoy it enough I might have a go at marshalling next year.

Reckon the site is much better overall. However it could do with a home page picture of a load of supercars piling into a corner to show what the sport is about.

Its also a tad confusing to have a picture of a Quaife sponsored GT car on the front page. The casual / overseas browser might think its an endurance series or something... Still, its a big improvement overall!

Exactly! That's what the site is missing (well the homepage anyway). Lots of cars!

Seriously though I think the RSS guys have got it right with their website - it's bright, fun and lively with loads of cars everywhere. Kind of captures the spirit of Rallycross -entertainment all the way.

Anyhow I don't want to get into a which site is better argument. As a website and graphic designer (amongst many other talents!) myself I'm just interested in these things!

I must be going to the wrong site.

The homepage does have a picture of about 5 supercars piling into a corner. However the sport has a lot more to offer than just Supercars.

Also where is the Quaife sponsored GT car?
Its not on the homepage so how would a casual browser see it.

The website is being updated all the time, and the GT car has been replaced with the Supercars.

Also Twiglett, check out the 'Getting Involved' page, see anything you recognise?

I know the new website is great and everything, and its a huge improvement on the last one, but it does seem odd that I have to go through spectator info to find our championship standings!?!

No BRDA Points Table yet, a bid odd that, only MSA & BTRDA.

I've looked and found all the results and standings using the links on the sidebars but what may be confusing you is that all the standings' pages come up with the same heading BTRDA

I quite like the look of the new site once you have found your way around it. IMO one or two things need improving,
Why does it always say Good Morning, whatever time you log in?
The for sale page is hard to find.
Why are there no Stock Hatch or Junior drivers on the profile pages?

I agree with most of the comments above but whenever I log on to the website it greets me with good morning / evening (Whichever applies). But other than that its looking goood.

Have any Stockhatch or Junior drivers sent in their profiles, could that be the reason why they are not listed.
