struggie should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Sent a message to dolly but couldnt open the link to john.
I went to some good parties at the smiths huge house in folkstone.we was watching an old only fools on TV the other night and the bed and breakfast the trotters stayed in reminded us of the smiths house

Just spoke to colin richards and he hasnt heard from John smith or jeeta for years.

Strangely enough, I believe the car in the photo that started this thread ended up with John Smith.

If I'm correct then this got cut into pieces with a Stihl saw at John's 'rest home' in Maidstone following a start line shunt at Brands in 1986.

John was in a tussle with John Welch off the line and the Porsche suddenly veered into the armco barrier along the main straight, only to be collected by Mark Rennison in his debut outing in the RS200.

I remember digging some of the front bodywork from the RS200 out of the Porsche. I kept one of the fabricated light pods as a momento. Mark's confidence must have been dented, but not as much as the Porsche, it was bent like a banana!!
