Cholmondley Pageant of Power
For info to any marshals still planning their year's events, please take note
that Cholmondley Pageant of Power is not taking place in 2017. Their website suggests that they are still considering what to do in 2018. Regards Gordon |

Thanks Gordon. Mixed feelings about the event in the last couple of years. It felt that it lacked punch and the wow factor it had in previous years.
Maybe a reboot Version 2.0 is needed not conflicting with LeMans. There is still a place for the event, the setting is good with entertainment on the water, music etc. More emphasis should be on the family, look at the success of Carfest, sells out regularly. The cars and bikes are out there, the support is there, just needs a rethink and some finesses added. Mike - attendee and marshal for every event! |
