The 19th Regis Rally - Saturday 5th October 2013

Celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the first Regis Rally in 1953!
Saturday 5th October 2013
After a 2 year break, the 19th Regis Rally will run between 9am and 5pm in West Sussex and Hampshire with the start & finish at Aldingbourne Country Centre http://www.aldingbournetrust.co.uk
The route will pass through some very rural and interesting locations where the countryside is always stunning in the early autumn with some interesting special tests on private ground.
The planned lunch halt will be at Fort Nelson above Portsmouth.
The regular organising Team headed by Mick Briggs and Martin Neal always ensure that the Regis Rally is designed to be challenging enough for the serious competitors, but allows Novices the chance to complete the full route, enjoy themselves and learn something new!
It is the penultimate round of the 2013 Autosessive HRCR Clubmans Rally Championship and will follow the Historic Rally Car Register guidelines regarding navigation - but with the Regis Rally slant.
Regulations will be sent to all championship contenders, previous entrants and will also be available from http://www.theregisrally.co.uk from early August.
The competitively priced entry fee will include ploughman’s lunch and hot buffet supper for a crew of two at the finish.

This rally cannot happen without the services of around 100 marshals.
Please volunteer for a half or full day of fun. We can arrange for you to run a road or special test control or help marshal one of our off road special tests. No experience is needed as training will be given. Get up close and personal to the action and see 50 plus classic rally cars of all models in action, plus you’ll receive the infamous Regis Rally Goody Bag!!
Also you will be entered into a draw to win one of subscriptions to either Motorsport, Octane or Classics Monthly!
Signing on at your post when you offer in advance!!
If you are able to volunteer your services as a marshal please contact our Chief Marshal – Chris Derbyshire chris.derbyshire2@virgin.net or call Ali Green on 01243 542674
