Thanks guys for your help when we ran those cars down WD pit exit from Abbey Pit Exit Plus. I think there were 4 in total across the weekend, 2x single seaters, an E-Type and the Group C #21. Great cross post/specialism teamwork

I would like especially to thank the guys, (not 100% sure who it was though I think one was Jane) who managed to slow up the Red Group C that jumped the pit exit red light at full chat. I think he was slowed up enough by you guys to manage to avoid us when he met us head on halfway down the ramp. It was a scary moment for us all - and I wasn't best pleased.

I understand the driver was hauled up for Tea and Oreos and given 2 points and a severe spanking?

Cheers - Tony

My thanks also go to "boys" in Assembly who telegraphed the countdown and green flag signals to us (S/C) so well.

Also the lass who let me use her phone to take a photograph, and the pit lane marshals who leap frogged reports down to race control.

Cheers
Ian

Thanks Nick for managing a difficult job! And for taking the time to look after all of us over the weekend.

Great piccie, Norman, thanks for doing that and for being our Parker. And thanks to everyone in the team for the great company over the weekend, and three cheers to Nick for looking after us all, as he always does. Finally thanks to the drivers for a cracking weekend racing, and I hope to see you all again next year.

Evening! There was a bloke taking marshal pics at Copse outside first thing Sunday morning, said they would get posted on here. Anyone seen anything? He was official photographer so am sure they will appear somewhere!

I was gutted that we missed the Classic this year thanks to my treatment and stay in hospital.

I "helped out" in the Pits last year and it was a fantastic experience and I'd hoped to do it again this year. The team are wonderful and made this "first timer" feel very welcome, especially considering my limitations.

I feel a new "career" coming on once I get back into things - Are my flag days numbered?

Er!, Um! You see .... Well it was like this .... Somehow ....

Alright I'll spell it out;
There you are, all kitted out with Official Photographers Bib, expensive camera, having travelled forty miles to be there, years of experience to call on, and then ............... to find you do not have an SD card in the camera, neither a spare in the camera bag ..........Whoops! no pictures.

Luckily a good friend loaned me a card so I was able to record a goodly number of 'you chaps' (both sexes), sadly the fine bunch of chaps at Copse missed out.

My sincere apologies, and I will try to catch you soon. Bentley Drivers anyone?

Am I the only one that thought that the coverage wasn't that great?

However, that was a great catch of Patrick Watts making sweet, sweet love to the barrier at Copse.

Same old problem with TV highlight shows to much chit chat, most people tune in to watch motorsport not constant interviews.

IMHO I thought the racing coverage selected was very good .Marcus Pye and Simon Taylor (the A Team) for commentating on the next one.

Because we are are spoilt now with super HD Sky or BBC F1 programmes, multiple high tech camera positions, on board top quality footage and expensive production budgets it is easy to be disappointed when other meetings don't reach those high standards.
I reckon it's all about the money.
