Are these track days for us to bring our own cars or use the racing school cars?

Gary, they are for you to bring your own cars. No race school cars are provided. However, we are working on doing a similar thing to the Cadwell Park day and may have some 'friendly' race drivers bring their cars to give you some 'hot rides'

Some of the regular Oulton drivers are talking about doing this!

Mmm ! Interesting.
Don't have a perticularly racy car (BMW 318i Touring) but would like to see what it could do round Brands. Could i put my name down for next year's event. 20th Jan wasn't it?

heh, the car doesn't matter, i'm taking my 1.1lt Pug 106 for the sheer thrill of pushing as hard as i can legally, rather than risk mr policeman taking away my license. In fact, you could look at it as a chance to test both your skills and your car in a "safe" enviroment, to find the limits and hopefully become a safer driver on the roads...

Having sprinted a vastly underpowered Citroen ZX I shall be putting the Focus Deisesel through its paces in Nov, its fairly quick setting up a rally stage with a trailer on the back, so shouldent be too bad round Oulton. However I have had tentative agreement from Steve Perez, owner of Vodka Kick to bring some of their Rally Cars to give rides, now there is a couple of really quick Foci

Stu, not turbo engines in either of them. One of them is a 1242 8 valve punto engine on fuel injection and mapped ecu from DTA that a frined of mine mapped on his rolling road, the other one is ultra quick 16 valve 1242 engine on hayabusa throttle bodies mapped at around 160 brake!the acceleration is faster than ferrari on track.both have 6 spd gearbox and big brakes and toyo tyres.Have a look at www.wolfdirectracing.com and you will see the cars and me on racing site.the silver seic is the one that I had at cadwell. If you want to play around with your seic get in touch with them, well worth every penny if you want make it go faster.

I have spoken to Mike Newton, and he is hoping to provide at least one car, possibly two, and matbe Tommy Erdos will also come along. More details to follow.

I may well have a track prepared E30 BMW by November which i'd happily swap drives with or do quick passenger laps for anyone interested (can't promise blistering pace but should be rather rapid).

Does this mean the trailer will be attached on the day - I've seen caravan racing at Silverstone in the distant past!!!
