Rallycross Stockhatch or Mod?
Hi
Just thinking about getting back into rallycross but what's happening ? is stockhatch still good fun or is it not supported anymore and still suffering from lots of pannel damage? Would be looking to do BRDA for me and BTRDA for the other half can this still be done at one meeting by sharing the car ? Also what is happening in the Mods is their a budget class for this that we could both use the car for at a single meeting? Have checked out the usual web sites but their is very little info on them Cheers Marty Hawkes |

I havent a clue what the scene is like in the uk and cant really comment, but i more concerned that you couldnt find any info on the classes relating to your query; Anyway you think us website owners can improve the sitation dont hesitate to spill Afterall if we arent gettin the info that people need to see out there we are failing in our aim! Returning you to normal ramblings |

Marjy, the answer is yes to all the modified questions, BTRDA / BRDA can use the same car two different drivers, same goes for stockhatch.
Stockhatch is a little rough, but thats now its always been? |

From what I've seen of it this year stockhatch is the same as it ever was - mostly good clean fun, gentle nudges here and there on the loose stuff and a couple of loons that seem to think contact is part of the deal. They do seem to be the minority though - the Lydden meeting was largely well mannered (largely - not totally ).

Aye up Marty, you back on these shores now?
Stocks are fairly much the same as they always have been pal, nothings changed much since u where last out. Think a lot of people would like to go mod, but budgets are getting quite serious now for a competative car. It will be good to get you back out what ever u do again. Si |

what about mods in the btrda !!!! then have a look about could use the car in other series like semsec etc , revivals , you don't need to chuck loads off doe at it , unless you have a 100k laying around , depends if you doing it for fun , of if you wanna win then you better by a lotus or vx220 .

I see Phil Collards has the Ka for sale anyone know what he is doing ?
http://www.rallycross.com/sales_db/v...1592&lang_id=0 Some spec but also some price tag. The Lotus is starting to look like very good value for money at the price it was bought. |

He was circuit racing but if it is up for sale presume he has abandoned that idea with the current car

Well Stockhatch has been fairly clean this year, not too much panel damage, but if Ric's coming back that could all change
Seriously though it will be good to see Ric & Marty back. the more the merrier (sp) |

Youve hardly been out. Apart from the new shell that wasnt my fault, ive had to replace 3 wings, bumpers etc and that was only in the first 3 events

A rough year for Si and all around him the car Si had the head on with in Anglesey had to be shelled. Although it has to be said it was fairly rough before the event.

Fair play to both our teams though, got both cars back out for the rest of the day. Looking at the list, it's certainly a health size entry for the event. Si |
