Erki has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Could Michelin concentrate now solely on endurance?

Now that Michelin got kicked out of both F1 and WRC, could Michelin now concentrate now solely on endurance racing? In an interview on Motors TV, some Michelin guy said that endurance racing has the biggest challenge - bigger than F1 or WRC. Perhaps Michelin's bigger involvement could raise endurance racing's profile further?

With BFGoodrich being a big player in cross-country rallies - Michelin is the ultimate endurance tyre.

In terms of car racing, Michelin are probably focussing on Endurance racing. But they are also heavily involved in Moto GP, which is F1 like in its own right and allows them to fight against Bridgestone.

Personally, with Bridgestone being a control tire in F1, I'd like to see them start up a sportscar program again.

It was interesting that they was saying 'endurance' is a rapidly expanding market for them, and the basis is in place for a World Endurance Series!

hmmm. They have been the best tyre in endurance for at least 10 years- surely they will move on soon, like all good things do ?

Why would Michelin leave endurance? Don't they make money selling these tyres

I'd be very surprised if Michelin pulled out of enduro...they love the competition, they have companies to compete against and, frankly, where else would they go?
