That said, I am reminded that the problem of “not fitting in the car” does prevent me from ever racing some of the more competitive models anyway!

I could not now afford to buy any of the cars I raced in the previous 30 years (with the exception of the most recent, the much-loved Camaro, and possibly the 1965 Alfa 2600 Sprint coupe).
