MGCC Silverstone 23-25 July

Hi
Just thought id pop by to see how everyones weekend was at Silverstone.
I must say I enjoyed it and loved the whole event from the racing on the track were we saw thrills and spills including the big shunt with the MGF/ZR race. To the stalls on the infield.

I agree with you Mark I enjoyed the two days I was there. The racing was very good as well as the weather (except the short sharp showers today).

Well done MGCC!!

Had a good weekend. Thanks to the MGCC for a good race meeting and a great bbq...it was very yummy!

I went out the the guy that caused the big shunt...blue MGF...he made nice mess of the front!

Great weekend's racing (as a spectator). I did close my eyes though when a group of marshals went to retrieve a stalled MGF at Abbey on Saturday with the entire field bearing down on them. Personally I'd have left it.....

Chezza,

It was nice to to be on post with you on Saturday day although I did move post on Sunday to Copse Exit.

We left that one in the middle of the track for you as had two more from that incident to deal with.

That follows the driving school car with broken suspension in the first race.

Looked like it was going to be a busy afternoon.

BTW John Watson I did not eat any pork pies (SRB has band them), that was the IO.

Good weekend and stayed mostly dry which was a bonus. Was kept busy writing and taking photos of all the MGF's though.
Thanks to chef Andrew for the Saturday night as always the burnt burgers when down well
And andrew what happened to your sign on the sunday?

Steve,
Along as the burgers stayed down

Last seen the sign was still at Silverstone??? it did not fit inside the car or caravan.

I hope the pictures of the TF's turned out well the the contacts made between them looked good from where I was watching with my eyes closed !

I would post the picture of the sign if I could fathom out why! Tried and said it was too big - I know you guys found it heavy! I just supervised to protect my knee!

If Brickkicker's instructions are correct, I should get a photo here! Three ten-tenthers and one ten-tenther's other half! Guess the one sat in the back ground is the Chair Man, but it wasn't his table!
