Definitely Le Mans - in my bro's best car yet by some considerable margin - but hopefully the British FIA GT and LMS rounds too. Also, I've never been to Thruxton - And I fancy seeing the Britcar 24 thing too

I'm going to England/Scotland 17 April until 1 May but I think I'll miss anything exciting. Plus, the missus-to-be probably wouldn't appreciate it.
That leaves: Mosport ALMS Montreal NASCAR Busch/Rolex Grand-Am Maybe a CASC club weekend at Mosport Pretty dismal, but I guess that happens when you live in Northern Ontario! |

Unfortunately finances and the fact that I have a 3.0L V6 Shogun cuts me down (£65 fuel to get to Silverstone from North Wales last year! ). I'm planning on camping at Oulton Park for the British GT, but after that we'll see how it goes. I'd love to get to see the Lemans cars though, and maybe a Britcar (most likely Oulton Park again )

The ones I'm going to really make an effort for are...
Spa LMS Silverstone LMS Laguna Seca ALMS Mixed in amongst that there'll likely be a few excursions to Brands Hatch (it is just down the road after all). Obviously it'd be great to tick more boxes but there's always the suspicion that my wife's patience might, at some stage, run a touch thin... |

5-6 May FIA GT Silverstone (unless MotorsTV have full live coverage of the Le Mans Series from Valencia)
13-18 June Le Mans 15-16 September Silverstone Le Mans Series I was also going to go to the International Open GT round at Brands Hatch, but I get the impression it may have been cancelled (unless it's a support race for the WTCC?). Anything else I manage to get to will be a bonus. |

I'm planning to be at the following:
British GT - Oulton Park British GT - Donington Park FIA GT - Silverstone Le Mans (finally!) Spa 24 hours (possible but not certain - trying) LMS - Silverstone International GT Open - Brands Hatch (possible but not certain) I'd like to pay a visit to anything involving Group C and also the Silverstone classic too. Plus any chance I get to nip over to Cadwell every now and then. |

Should be at Le Mans this year, and possibly Petit Le Mans again but not sure on the latter. Currently looking at FIA GT in Bucharest in May and Super GT somewhere in Japan later in the year (with a holiday to be planned around it!) and probably catch a couple of Brit GT races this season as well. Only really planned the first couple of months of the season and Le Mans so far for sure, so time will tell really!
May get to the FIA GT meeting at Silverstone in May and possibly the September meeting too. |

reccomend the final LMS round for sure, and as well here are good spectating spots if you go. bridge on the hangar straight, sit on the bank above the fence, its a cracker of a place and the doppler effect generated by the cars passing under the bridge makes them sound even more gorgeous. also, bridge, and the chicane before bridge are good, the exit of club on the bank is a fantastic place to spectate from as well. the start finish straight and the exit of the final corner are crackers as well, try to get to the gate by the start finish line, im not sure if its off limits but it was a corker of a place, about 2 metres away from the cars really enhances the sense of speed. |

I always try to get to a place where cars are accelerating as it sounds best! (brands hatch for instance i always try the at the start of the s/f straight.) Last time I went to silverstone was at the classic last year and I was placed after club and I got to hear things like the Group C cars at full revs! When I go to the FIA GT race i'll take your advice and go near the s/f line there! Speedblood |
