Drivers dress as Power Rangers

Has anyone else noticed how some drivers, when they vacate their vehicle at the end of a run look very much like a Power Ranger? Maybe they have the special 'powers' of them aswell.

Strange comment!

Would you like to elaborate on whom you made this observation??

To be fair I think a little more explanation of this is needed, with close regards to looking at drivers in the holding paddock, at the top of the hill, from post 9, at Loton Park.

Welshie..... care to explain???

I wouldn't like to embarrass anyone but it was certain top 12 drivers at the top holding paddock at Loton this weekend. I looked over from Post 9 and observed how some of the drivers when vacating thier vehicles with helmets on do look like Power rangers!! Maybe we should start naming them after these characters!!

I was not sugesting more nicknames but merely saying that they remind me of Power Rangers!! Hopefully someone somewhere will see the sense in what I am saying. It could just be that my mental age is showing through.

Well yes I am a bit. Actually I must be. All these hot weekends we have had and I have been marshalling instead of being sat on a beach getting a tan like most normal 22yr old girls!!!

It's the 22 year old bit that's the problem. Most of us oldies have only vaguely heard of the Power Rangers... I've only just got the hang of the Spice Girls and my niece is disappointed at my abject failure to name any of the teltubbies correctly.

No you won't and not for the reason you're thinking of.

I'll be on another vacation (need one after doing F1 and Nascar in the States) and so will be chilling-out before doing Gurston.

see you there.

Hmm, I'm assuming that 'aswell' is going to be in the Welsh dictionary?

OK, let's start working this out. We already know that Trevor is Scary, Adam must be Ginger... oh bugger, that's the Spice Girls again isn't it? I'l never get the hang of this.

Ooh, lovely stuff. You can visit our awning any time you like!

I can read the words in Welsh, and even make a reasonable stab at pronouncing them (with a Cardiff accent I've been told, so you can put me right on that one), I've no idea what any of them mean, though.

I don't think many welsh people understand what they mean half the time except for the spitting that comes out of other peoples mouths when they are trying to pronounce certain words. It is always an interesting ride up to Loton park with mudge in the car. Stioll he Canot pronounce Dolgellau or machynllyth... if that is how they are spelt?

Does this not lead us onto another thread from here???

Hmmm let me think?

All things welsh.

This should put the cat amongst the pigeons.

And welshgal_2006 i'll think u'll find that not many people can pronounce those names, not wanting to say them to save myself from even more embarassment..........
