2007 Driver Potential Line Up/Movements (MERGED x38)

I didn't know if this thread has been started elsewhere, but thought why not!

The crystal ball I leased from the catalogue that came with my credit statement from the House of Magic or something similar suggests a shuffle of the cards at a couple teams potentially.

Skaifey looks set to grab a new team mate - Ryan Briscoe perhaps?

Todd Kelly, well he would never drive with Rick, so the crystal ball got rubbed..... and yielded a couple of choices....the first being Tasman Motorsport alongside NZ's other Prime Minister, Murphy.

Tander and Rick stay together, so the ball seems to think.

Jason Richards and Andrew Jones.....ummmm, well, the crystal ball doesn't quite know where or what so maybe some further polishing will help.

In the meantime, I have a 30-day free trial, if anyone wants to sub-lease a near-new crystal ball............

The crystal ball I use in a professional capacity has been pretty cloudy lately, so I may make a bid for yours yet.....

AJ to BJR to replace whichever of JB or BJ chucks it in first...

Considering the $$$ invested in K2, you would imagine that TK would have to stay with one of the HSV-sponsored teams - which limits him to HRT (not by the sounds of it), HSVDT (not by the sounds of it), Tasman (maybe) or SCAR (or whoever replaces SCA @ PWR - or should that be MMR - next year). Assuming HSV keep their fingers in the 2007 version of SCAR.

If I can't have Murph and Jason Richards @ Tasman next year, what about Todd going to HSVDT and Rick going to Tasman, back with Murph?

Not that I really have a clue what I am talking about. Just happy to take bits of other people's theories and pull them apart and stick them back together at random.... probably as accurate as any other guesses at this stage though!

i would say (todd to JDR) (richo to toll HSVDT) and (tander to HRT) (murph and cam to stay at SCAR/PWR) (andy to BJR to replace uncle brad) (dumbrell to tasman) and (young jack perkins to replace dumbrell).

what does MMR stand for rombles.

more than likely No Limit Group will replace SCA at PWR.

Couldn't see Super Cheap go from the Paul/Kees Weel Racing any time soon. Just my 2 cents though, as for T.Kelly under a no leave unless sacked contract, and I think Skaife and Big Tom wouldn't drop Todd like a hot spud anytime in the near future.

It is very early to start speculation on this topic don't you think?

After reading that Briscoe successfully tested a Champ Car this week for Mi-Jack I don't think his open wheel aspirations for 2007 are dead in the water yet.

In the Tasman dealings, is Jason Richards considered a top line driver... hopefully he won't get punted off to GRM or the like to make way for the Kellys...

I would be happy to see Jason Richards stay where he is. His current team is very capable and I think they still have room for vast improvements.

I know it's early, but is there any potential rumours on Glenn Seton's whereabouts for the 2007 season?

xrystl's crystal ball shows Seton finally retired "full time" after a Seton induced Bthurst failure with #4 , with Ross agreeing with Dicks sentiments Seton finally accepts what most others have known for years , the crystal ball now sheds a tear .

... with the record held at the end of season 2006 of the most number of starts in the ATCC/SATCC/SCS/V8SCS etc as follows:

212 - Peter Brock
211 - John Bowe
203 - Glenn Seton
202 - Dick Johnson

.... 3rd highest in number of series starts... 2 time series champion, multiple Bathurst runner up...

.. except I see the crystal ball unfogging and the old bloke finding a new seat...

I believe the championship tally shows Ford on 20 championship victories to Holdens 13.

With Seton though, the last 2 co-drivers in the Ambrose mobile managed to get a full time gig next year, so if that trend continues in Courtney's car, Seton shouldnt have trouble finding a seat for 07

To qualify as a "full time" gig shouldn't they do the whole year? That counts Ritter out....

There is better drivers then Sci-Fleet available for the #20. It will depend if PCR can afford to pay them though I guess.
