The organisers push to remove the invitational cars has also been a negative.
The loss of the Daytona's and Corvettes along with the reduction in GT4 is disappointing |

I'm not interested because there's not enough of them. If the organisers had more, then I'd care. But 3-4 cars in a class isn't enough for me.
I'm questioning whether you need Pro-Am and Silver classes, however. These serve roughly the same purpose. SRO seem big on classes for every possibly combination. |

Looking forward to this one as ever!
About 44 entrants, with 22 strictly Pro teams? I think Pro / Pro Am alone would be a great show, so maybe they're trying to dwindle the entry? The last class appears to be half one team and all the same Marque... |

Plenty of cars here to build a decent grid of them, but no one is coughing up the money to do so. |

Why aren’t European GT4 teams coming to the 12hr, the GT3 teams do in droves
The 12hr only a few years ago attracted plenty of interest from overseas teams wanting to run in lower classes, what has changed? |

Getting run over by factory guys in GT3s who don't have to worry about paying bills for damaged cars is no fun, I guess. And it probably makes a difference if there are 15 or 30 GT3s to watch out for.

It’s different this time. I think most of us agree Lowndes should be up there

It's is a mouth watering lineup. Maybe this is Parente's swansong in a Macca before he moves on to the Bentleys

Any details on the TV coverage yet (outside of what channels it is on)?
Commentators? TV Times? |
