Thanks for the extra information Chris, always good to know about these cars. The Begg and other F5000's all looked out of place at that snowy Goodwood members meeting. Also found a couple of Shots of the Bill Hemming Elfin you mentioned. He came to Silverstone with it in 2011.

Here's a few from the New Year Tests at Brooklands yesterday. Car of the day had to be the Wolseley Hornet Special which stood out among the hordes of Austin 7s. That said the Austins are providing entry level motorsport to quite a few younger enthusiasts.

Crikey, the #29 in the last set (980) wouldnt want to rollover.... drivers upper body and head is very exposed and unprotected. (I think its an Ermini?).
Aside from that always good to see a selection of Talbot Lagos, and as usual a great variety of marques for our pleasure. Lubbly Jubbly as they say. |

I sometimes think that current drivers are bigger so they stick up more in the cars than back on the day. Of course many current drivers are much older and better fed!
A couple of years ago I was at the Algarve Classic and one rather large driver almost had to be show horned into his Lotus 24. |

A Lola T70 and an M1B in the same frame is always going to be good viewing. Same can be said for Chevrons and Cooper Sports Cars. A good supporting cast of interesting cars as well. Very pleasant.
