vB Code?
This has probably been asked a thousand times, but as "vB" is to short a "word" to search for, I'll ask the question anyway.
The forum info suggests that vB code can be used and I have vB code enabled, but when I use commonplace code such as [font] or [color] nothing happens except that the code appears as text. Is vB therefore not available at all (or am I doing something wrong - more like?) |

Those codes can be useful in moderation but sadly there are too many 'kiddies' who abuse such codes by posting everything in 72 pt font or with every letter a different size/colour so we had to disable them.

Allowing users to select their own font colour can also break the forum affiliates scheme given each forum affiliate can have a different forum colour. If their chosen colour clashes with the colour chosen by the user then the text will not be visible.
